Jake Steffes requested information on how to build a non-profit partner business with local agencies that employs and trains form inmates. He specifically is seeking a grant to begin to build that program and information on help training offered by BJA. The coordinator directed Mr. Steffes to the BJA Funding page and provided information on the recently released Second Chance Act Comprehensive Community-Based Adult Reentry Program Utilizing Mentors.
The coordinator searched the BJA website for updated pathways to those resources and queried the funding records to see which organizations were involved in the resource creation. Charise was directed to contact NCJA's Center for Justice Planning, who was the grant recipient for the evaluation work, and provided with updated links to some of the resources formally stored on the BJA main-site.
