BJA NTTAC will support labor and travel fees for two speakers at the Chicago Crimefighters Meeting: Dennis Kato and Arif Alikhan.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for representations various cities to attend the Crime Fighters meeting in Chicago, Illinois. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to a total of 10 representatives from Los Angeles, California and Baltimore, Maryland to attend the meeting from January 17-18, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Flint, Michigan Police Department requested travel support for representatives from the Flint PSP site to attend the International Association of Evidence and Property, Inc's Property and Evidence Management. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to 2 representatives from the Flint PSP site to attend the training from February 26 - 27, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The California Parole, Probation, and Correctional Association requested travel support for subject matter experts to present at the CPPCA Training Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to two subject matter experts to attend the conference from September 13 - 14, 2017, in Long Beach, California.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel for representatives from Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites to attend the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) National PSP Summit. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to 1 representative from the West Memphis PSP site to attend the summit from September 11 – 13, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested travel support for three individuals from the Northern Cheyenne Tribe to attend the 2017 Healing and Wellness Training session in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 12-14, 2017. BJA NTTAC was identified to provide this support as part of its larger effort in supporting BJA's tribal justice initiatives.
The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) requested travel support for eight tribal justice practitioners (to be identified) to attend the Joint Jurisdictional Court Education Session being held at the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) in Washington, D.C. on November 1-2, 2017 . BJA NTTAC was identified to provide this support as part of its larger effort in supporting BJA's tribal justice initiatives.
We would like to request Problem-Oriented Policing training focusing on the role of crime analysts. The PPB received a similar training several years ago as part of TTA provided by NTTAC.
