The Vera team began planning and preparing materials for a mandatory orientation webinar for new CAREERRS grantees, hosted in collaboration with BJA. The purpose of the orientation is to provide an overview of the Second Chance Act and grantee’s specific program, provide grantees with information on key program partners, an overview of the National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC), a discussion on getting started during the first 6-months of the grant, and an overview of the Performance Measurement Tool (PMT) with a Q&A session with the BJA Policy Advisor and Vera staff.
