On April 25, 2013 Mr. Adam K. Matz and Mary Ann Mowatt (APPA) presented the online webinar "Gang Awareness and Assessment in Rural Communities: Implications for Community Corrections" hosted by the American Probation and Parole Association.
On April 1, 2013 Dr. Bitna Kim (IUP), Mr. Thomas Williams (CSOSA), and Mr. Adam K. Matz (APPA) presented the webinar, " Police-probation/parole partnerships: Enhancing reentry accountability and the need for formalized partnerships" hosted by the American Probation and Parole Association.
DOCCS is requesting technical support to help create and implement a unique recidivism reduction effort. This new model will reshape the way that community supervision is being conducted in the state of New York. Significant agency resources will be used to implement the model as a pilot in three geographically diverse locations throughout New York.
