The Lorain County, Ohio Chiefs’ Law Enforcement Association requested training on use of force. Command Presence was selected to fulfill the request and provided “Decision Making: Foundations of Reasonable Force” training to 244 representatives from local law enforcement agencies in Lorain County on September 9-11, 2019 in Elyria, Ohio.

The Tiffin, Ohio Police Department (PD) requested training on the topic of use of force. Command Presence was selected to fulfill the request and provided the training titled “Decision Making: Foundations of Reasonable Force,” to 136 members of 60 agencies in Ohio, including Tiffin PD, on November 5–6, 2019 in Tiffin, Ohio.

The Nashville, Tennessee Police Department is seeking assistance from BJA NTTAC to assess and identify the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department gun violence prevention efforts and to assess the investigative process identifying opportunities to enhance nonfatal shooting investigations and the prosecution process. The engagement was transferred to a new contract.

The Fairfax, Virginia Independent Police Auditor requested a use of force assessment for the police department regarding a disproportionate number of force incidents against minority populations. This request was denied.

The Okaloosa, Florida Sheriff's Department requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to funding support to host the program - Tactic, Tactics, and Trust™. ​Polis Solutions was selected to facilitate the assistance and conducted a three day onsite visit with the agency in May 2019. Polis Solutions hosted training events t law enforcement agencies with evidence-based knowledge, tools, and practical skills to help officers improve the safety and outcomes of their public interactions.
