The Ashanti TA Team met with pilot sites throughout the reporting period to collect and gather information to improve and refine the pilot project.
The email address info@ashanti.riss.net was established for states, other jurisdictions, and stakeholders to send questions or requests for information regarding the national Ashanti Alert Network.
Ashanti TA technical subgroup held multiple calls during the period to discuss possible information/technology solutions related to the pilot effort.
The Ashanti TA Team holds weekly meeting meetings with the BJA Senior Policy to discuss project progress, receive direction and guidance, and identify next steps.
The pilot sites, contiguous states, and members of the Ashanti Alert Stakeholder Working Group (SWG) met in Pittsburgh, PA to discuss project progress, provide feedback on the National Ashanti Alert Network, and next steps. The Ashanti TA team coordinated and helped facilitate the meeting. In preparation for the meeting, a Powerpoint was developed along with a recording of the Network demonstration. Binders with several documents and resources were created for the attendees. The TA team helped develop the invitation, agenda, materials, and presentation and documented the proceedings.
