On December, 2020 Jacqueline Altamirano Marin and Erica Crew co-facilitate a 90-minute Zoom meeting with reentry service providers, resident leaders, homeless services agencies, and other community stakeholders with ACHA. Vera designed the meeting as an opportunity for the sites to articulate the goals of the Opening Doors Initiative and site-specific goals to the larger community. Both ACHA and Vera presented and the group participated in small group discussions on the importance of reentry housing and next steps for the initiative.

On July 7, 2020 Jacqueline Altamirano Marin and Erica Crew conducted an orientation call and presentation with the Detroit Housing Commission. This was the first official call with DHC as an Opening Doors site and served as an orientation to the project and the first step in setting goals for the housing authority's reentry program and policy change.

Information on what MARJ students should "know, do, and value" upon completion of the program will be used as part of the broader course mapping Delphi process to inform new MARJ Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). The new PLOs will become the umbrella for the full MARJ program course mapping and evaluation.

On June 23, Erica Crew moderated a panel at NAHRO's online conference. The sessions was titled “Connecting People in Reentry to Public Housing and Community Resources”. The panelists were Kymian Ray, Senior Housing Program Specialist at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Devon Manning, Supportive Housing Planner, Delaware State Housing Authority, and Jessica Cline, Director of Reentry, Delaware Department of Correction.

The purpose of the Criminal Intelligence Coordination Council (CICC) meeting held at the IACP annual conference was to bring together leadership from the CICC, and federal partners to discuss current criminal intelligence, national intelligence, and information sharing issues and initiatives. This dialogue supported and enhanced widespread coordination and collaboration among state, local, tribal, territorial, and federal agencies, creating stronger partnerships and effective nationwide information sharing.
