Technology Implementation - Fusion Center

IIR provided logistical and travel reimbursement support for certain participants to attend specific events. On October 22 through October 23, 2015, such support was provided for 8 fusion center personnel to attend the Privacy/CRCL Officer Training of the Trainer event in Washington, DC.

This meeting was held via teleconference between PM-ISE and IIR staff to discuss the the data call status for information on the types of policies and social media threat information that is collected by various fusion centers.

This meeting took place between several federal,state, and local government partners that serve as members of the subcommittee to discuss the status of the existing group and how it will expand in the future. IIR attended to provide privacy support as directed and capture discussion related to P/CRCL protections to include technology-related initiatives involving social media.

The IIR Privacy Team and PM-ISE support staff hosted a meeting at PM-ISE offices and via teleconference to prepare for an upcoming meeting with the SAR/Fusion Center Subcommittee about ways to leverage support from the PM-ISE going forward.

In July of 2015, Center staff provided research assistance for Alyssa Harrold of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians.

In July of 2015, Center staff forwarded new CCI publication on teleservices in response to inquiry about “mobile courts” to Kristen DeVall of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi.

In September 2015, Center staff edited version of the White Earth Strategic Plan_OJJDP Tribal Underage Drinking.

In September 2015, Center staff provided Misdemeanor Assessment tool to Brian Mathers -Ho Chunk Nation.

In September 2015, Center staff maintained email correspondence with Cathy Fisher Healing to Wellness Coordinator SCIT Tribal Court re policy/procedure information on Foster Care transition.

In September 2015, Center staff conducted email introductions between Richard Iron Cloud of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation (South Dakota) and Mike Jackson of Kake First Nation, Wendy Hill of the Haudenosaunee Nation and Precious Benally of the Center for Court Innovation regarding peacemaking trainings.
