Questions?

Submitted by Ms. Nicole A Alford on

During the reporting period, IIR, in consultation with BJA and CNA, began initial planning for the 2015 VRN Summit, to include extensive exploration of city venue options to accommodate the estimated number of participants for the nationwide multiday event and identification of the dates of September 28-30 in Detroit, Michigan—a VRN site. Consideration was given to potential site location, cost, ease of accessibility, number and size of meeting rooms, access to area restaurants, and more.

During the reporting period, IIR submitted the DOJ Event Approval Form, secured the facility, and developed announcements and informational materials regarding the 2015 VRN Summit. IIR coordinated with BJA, CNA, and VRN site representatives to identify potential subject-matter experts to participate in the summit. In addition, IIR began initial coordination of logistical planning, including travel, lodging, and materials, in preparation for the 2015 VRN Summit.
