July-December 2022: Developed preliminary findings and presented at NAPD Racial Justice Conference on November 2, 2022.
January - June 2023: Report is largely finalized. We are working with RTI to rework some of the analysis and recommendations to suit the qualitative and quantitative findings.
July-Dec. 2023: Report's final editing is underway.
January-June 2024: Race and Public Defense Report RTI continue to work on final report, restructuring from a large combined report with CJI into separate briefs. RTI redeveloped the qualitative results and discussion/recommendations into two briefs as well as reviewed and provided edits to CJI Report. RTI aims to complete report by end of Q3.
July-Dec. 2024: . CJI has released their part of the report. It is hoped the NACDL/RTI pieces will be ready for release in the summer of 2025.
