Questions?

Submitted by Simone Elisa Greene on

NCJA is developing a training to guide SAAs regarding how to use multiple sources of funding to leverage and braid federal resources for maximum impact. The training will include definitions regarding braided and blended funding as well as strategies and resources that states can use to determine whether braiding funding is appropriate for their projects and initiatives. With many states expecting budget cuts in the years to come, this topic is especially important. The training will delve into sustainability best practices and give guidance on what to avoid when using multiple sources of funding, such as supplanting and grant tracking errors.
