Develop and maintain a website that will facilitate the sharing of resources, knowledge, and practices with criminal justice system actors and the general public. The platform will be a searchable system that will contain a variety of content, including materials created during the course of the grant, and existing resources. Materials will include videos, policy and procedure guides, academic research, articles and publications, and interactive learning opportunities. Content will focus on core Sixth Amendment issues relating to speedy trials, impartial and representative juries, access to evidence and witnesses, the ability to present a defense, and waivers of the right to counsel. The website will be updated throughout the grant period.

Review the existing website (strengthenthesixth.org) which was created and is operated by NLADA under an earlier award for a related grant, in order to facilitate the transition of responsibility for the Sixth Amendment website from NLADA to NACDL in September 2020.
Have examined site and conducted conference call with NLADA regarding the website and other grant related work. In person meeting with NLADA web staff and NACDL web staff scheduled for February 4. Additional meeting held 3/5.
NACDL transitions to take over oversight and operations of website effective 10/1. Due to delay in securing domain name, soft roll out on 10/1; with public launch 10/5/20
NACDL will operate Sixth Amendment website, including regularly updating content to maximize benefits to all user groups.
