Additional Info

Sent e-mail to requester on 8.7.13 asking to set up a time for a conference call. Sent assessment form and asked to have them fill it out and send back before call. Held call with requester on 8.13.13. Asked for letter on letterhead to be sent so that request could be moved forward to a policy adviser at BJA. 8.27.13 sent 2nd request for letter on letterhead as it has not yet been received. Spoke to Mary on 8.27.13 and she will send letter by 9.3.13. Received letter and sending to BJA on 9.4.13 Requester needs training in all areas of forensics for new employees of newly formed department. I think that it is possible that NFSTC already has current funding and that this request can be referred to them. Would like approval to contact NFSTC and explore a possible referral. Request referred to the National Forensic Academy (Don Green) on 12.18.13 after approval from Becky Rose and Cornelia Sorensen. Training on blood stain pattern analysis set for March 31-April 4th 2014 Closing out request on 1.7.14 as request has been successfully referred.
