The Seton Hall University requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to enhance its crime analysis assignments and processes. Blue Courage Inc. was selected to facilitate the assistance and conducted a two day onsite visit with the University in March 2020. Two Blue Courage providers developed a report with recommendations specific to training, functionality, and staffing to optimize existing crime analysis capacity.
Research on resilience for law enforcement officers clearly indicates that physical and mental health are key to avoiding bad decisions on the job, burn-out, and officer suicide. Assisting officers to develop strategies for health well-being is essential.
