All COIP grantees were invited to this event. This event focused on correctional systems are increasingly recognizing the importance of working with families. Now, more than ever, courts, probation, and corrections agencies should consider a fundamental shift away from an ad-hoc, system-centered approach to a culture and strategy that centers families in supervision and service policies and practices.

The coaches continued to provide edits to staff trainings, policies and forms that LACPD developed during this reporting period. The LA Probation PREA team has been fully engaged with the coaches.
The coaches have checked in with the grantee at least once a month via video call and they have communicated via e-mail regarding developed materials for the coaches to review.

During this reporting period, King County was fully engaged with the coaches. The coaches have continued to assist King County with their development of youth education and sustainability plan.

During this reporting period, NHDOC staff were fully engaged with the coaches. The coaches assisted NHDOC by providing in depth information on comprehensive inmate education and reviewing developed materials.
The coaches provided feedback on trainings and education developed by NHDOC.

Performed external policy review and recommendations on trauma-informed practice and also reviewed and provided recommendations on the NYC DOC draft directive about the Special Considerations Unit.
