Objective 1: Develop standards for local jurisdictions and state criminal justice agencies that will result in data being accurately and comprehensively aggregated at the state and national levels. (Tier 2 metrics and TIGs)
In July, CSG Justice Center staff completed the analysis of the Tier 2 public feedback and began formatting it into a series of recommendations that the subcommittees will consider in their next meeting.?
Objective 5: Develop and run a national campaign to educate criminal justice agency leaders, policymakers, and the public about the Justice Counts metrics. (Website Work)
In July, CSG Justice Center staff worked towards finalizing the design of the prison dashboard for BJA approval.?CSG's Research Division also took steps to create an internal data visualization team that will work to make dashboards and data stories happen quickly and internally.?

Objective 2: Develop tools and make them available to states and other interested jurisdictions (publisher).
Work for this objective is now complete with the development and implementation of the Justice Counts Publisher.
The TTA team reviewed policies drafted by LA OJJ for the use of interdiction technologies in their facilities.
Objective 1: Use the hub and spoke model to engage all necessary and appropriate subject matter expertise to support Justice Counts design and implementation.
· 1/3 Call with Jeff Locke (Senior Policy Advisor) from the Bureau of Justice Assistance to discuss upcoming updates to the Justice Counts website. (1 person, representing 1 agency)
Objective 2: Continuously review the metrics, technology, solution for states, and related resources and refine as needed.
· 1/4 Call with Jerome Abrams (Senior Judge) from the Minnesota Judicial Branch and Diane Robinson (Senior Court Researcher) from the National Center for State Courts to discuss the Tier 2 Courts and Pretrial Metrics. (2 people, representing 2 agencies)
Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support.
· 3/8 Call with Kristine Hamann, Executive Director, from the Prosecutor’s Center for Excellence, to provide an overview of Justice Counts and potential to attend her conference. (1 person, representing 1 agency)
