ATJRC organized grantees into six cohorts to accommodate our expanding grantee portfolio. Cohort-one consists of (3) FY 2016 grantees; Cohort-two consists of (7) FY 2017 grantees; Cohort-three consists of (7) FY 2018 grantees; Cohort-four consists of (6) FY 2019 grantees; Cohort-five consists of (2) FY 2020 grantees; and Cohort-six consists of (5) FY 2021 new grantees

Held (4) meetings with Northwest Strategies to finalize Alaska Tribal Justice Resource Center Logo. Dates of meetings in this reporting period are: October 7, 2021, December 17, 2021, December 28, 2021 and December 29, 2021.

Held (15) meetings with staff to maintain and improve the website for the benefit of all Alaska Tribes and grantees. Dates of website meetings during this reporting period are: August 11, 2021, August 18, 2021, August 25, 2021, September 1, 2021, September 8, 2021, September 15, 2021, October 13, 2021, October 20, 2021, October 27, 2021, November 3, 2021, November 10, 2021, November 17, 2021, December 10, 2021, December 22, 2021, and December 29, 2021.

Meetings with two teams the Resource Basket and the ATJRC team to review calendars, trainings, and provide updates.

During this reporting period ATJRC convened and facilitated (4 ) Full Work Group Meetings on July 29, 2021, October 27, 2021, November 24, 2021, December 20, 2021; (3) Forms Sub-Committee Meeting on July 1, 2021, July 15, 2021, August 19, 2021; (2) curricula sub-work group meetings on August 20, 2021, August 27, 2021and (1) scenario sub-work group meeting on July 15, 2021. Total of (10) Meetings.

On 07/18-21/2021 NJC collaborated with allied organizations by attending the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges virtual annual conference.

The ATJRC TTA Center held (28) Weekly ATJRC staff meetings and to accommodate growing number of grantees during this reporting period.

The Kansas City team is small and does not have experience launching new court initiatives like the RSVP docket. They would like to talk with others who have developed young adult domestic violence dockets and batterer’s intervention programs for young people.

Catherine Retana and Heather Valdez Freedman coordinated and provided introductory call with TLPI Consultant Judge William Thorne for tribal state collaboration and tribal state court forum planning and implementation. Amy Hernandez (Domestic Violence Program Coordinator and Justice Courts Program Coordinator, Utah State Courts) , and Bridget Koza, J.D. (Court Improvement Program Director, Utah State Courts) were present.
