The Boston (MA) Police Department requested assistance finding examples of a social media policy for use in criminal investigations and prosecutions. The IACP CTI team shared with Boston PD a resource from the Brennan Center for Justice, specifically the model policy from the New York (NY) Police Department.

On October 15, the CSG Justice Center spoke with RTI International to discuss and coordinate work around behavioral health calls for service. During the call, attendees talked about the work that each organization is doing in this area, discussed common challenges and barriers, and found opportunities for collaboration. On November 13, the CSG Justice Center spoke with representatives from Pew during which we shared a list of policy recommendations and potential products that will come out of the 911 project.
