In to a request by the Illinois OAG, TTA program staff supported preliminary planning for a webinar series on hate crimes for Illinois criminal justice personnel. NDAA program partners identified potential speakers for one webinar and provided their bios and presentation materials for review/feedback.

In response to an inquiry by the Rhode Island OAG, program staff provided the site team guidance on how to determine what type of data to collect for performance measures, trending analysis, etc., and potential mechanisms to capture/collect data.

In April 2024, TTA program staff provided a compilation of resources, curated in response to a request from the Maryland OAG (a FY2021 Collaborative Approaches site) during a project check-in call, pertaining to establishing an advisory board, including literature, handbooks, and other pertinent materials.

In response to an inquiry by the Mayland OAG, TTA program staff provided the site a compilation of state statutes regarding the definition of a hate crime that were identified from reviewing relevant legal and policy materials from DOJ, the COPS Office, various state codes and attorneys general offices, and national associations.

These newsletters are distributed by email at the beginning of every month and highlight upcoming CHJ grantee cohort events (like office hours, quarterly and focus area calls) and provide new resources, or recordings and resources that were mentioned on previous cohort calls. These newsletters also include products or upcoming events from COSSUP and its other TTA providers, and relevant federal resources.

IACP staff maintained and updated our CRIT Connect online community which houses our grantees across all fiscal years. CRIT Connect houses resources and is a space for sites to engage with the TA provider as well as partners and other grantees to discuss their projects, workshop challenges, and market opportunities.

The TA Center participated in the 2024 SCA. All 13 of the TA Center's FY24 grantees were in attendance. In total, in addition to 67 community-based and Smart Reentry grantees. The TA Center facilitated the following conference sessions: “Culturally Responsive Behavioral Health Care Access in Reentry,” and “The Importance of Effective Corrections and Community-Based Organization Relationships.” Additionally, TA Center staff and subject matter experts (SMEs) hosted three breakout sessions.
