Chief Terry A. Nichols (Retired) has more than 25 years of law enforcement experience and will be spending time discussing the National Law Enforcement Roadway Safety Program. The program focuses on the leading roadway factors contributing to officer injuries and deaths.
The Move Over/Distracted Driving Summit: A Unified Approach to Driving Change on the Roadway, looks to bring stakeholders from the private sector as well as the public sector at the local, state and federal level with the purpose of reducing motorist and emergency responder safety at roadway incidents. This Summit will serve as a kickoff to bring together and unify these groups and agencies and develop working groups and strategies to make our roadways safer.
