The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested travel support for panelists to present at the 2019 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for one representative from the Harris County, Texas National Public Safety Partnership site to present on a workshop entitled “Approaches to Investigating Officer Involved Shootings from Law Enforcement and Prosecutor Perspectives,” at the 2019 IACP Conference on October 29, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois.

Command Presence was selected to fulfill the request and provided Dynamics of Officer and Citizen Encounters Training to the Rockford Department of Public Safety on 2/26/2020 in Rockford, Michigan.

The Jefferson County, Alabama Sheriff's Office Training Center requested travel support for representatives to attend the National Association of School Research Officers Basic School Resource Officer. The event was canceled and the requestor withdrew the request.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma Police Department, as part of the Tulsa National Public Safety Partnership site, requested travel support for representatives to attend a peer exchange site visit to observe the Memphis, Tennessee Police Department's Real Time Crime Center. BJA NTTAC provided travel support to three representatives from the Tulsa, Oklahoma PSP site to visit the Memphis, Tennessee Real Time Crime Center from November 4 - 6, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Anchorage, Alaska Public Safety Partnership site, requested assistance to enhance its crime analysis assignments and processes. Julie Wartell was selected to fulfill the request and conducted a two- day onsite visit to Anchorage PD in December 2019. Ms. Wartell delivered a report to Anchorage PD in February 2020 with recommendations specific to training, technology, products/functionality, and staffing to optimize existing crime analysis capacity.

The Anniston/Oxford PSP sites requested assistance through BJA NTTAC to have a crime analysis assessment conducted. Reducing Crime LLC. was selected to fulfill the request and provided a three-day onsite visit with the Anniston and Oxford Police Departments. The crime analysis assessment occurred on December 11-13, 2019. Reducing Crime LLC. delivered a final report with recommendations to the Anniston and Oxford Police Departments in February 2020.
