As a follow up to the October 24, 2016 judicial roundtable, NACDL is providing funds for judges to attend the Judicial Responsibility for Justice in Criminal Courts conference hosted by the Monroe Friedman Ethics Center at the Hofstra University School of Law. The ultimate goal of the conference is to produce a set of standards or best practices for judges to ensure equal justice for all in high volume courts, including by safeguarding the right to counsel for indigent defendants.
