The Little Rock, Arkansas Violence Reduction Network (VRN) site requested training for their prosecution team in special offenses, such as domestic violence and sexual assault. The National Association of District Attorneys was selected as the provider and provided the three-day training to prosecutors and victim advocates on November 1-3, 2017.

The Genesee County, Michigan Prosecutor’s Office, as part of the Flint, Michigan Violence Reduction Network site, requested funding for one traveler to attend the National District Attorneys Association Career Prosecutor Course in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 15 – 25, 2017. The Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office did not receive internal approval for the training and withdrew the request. BJA NTTAC closed the request on April 25, 2017.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested support to facilitate the Drug Court Collaborative Training and Technical Assistance Providers Meeting. Nancy Kolb, BJA NTTAC Project Director, facilitated the meeting on January 11, 2017 in Washington, D.C.

The Bureau of Justice Assistance requested support to fund travelers to the Justice Reinvestment Forum hosted at the Pew Charitable Trusts. BJA NTTAC provided travel support for 18 travelers participate in the Forum on January 12, 2017 in Washington, D.C.

The Massachusetts Northwestern District Attorney's Office requested online training resources around computer and phone forensics for prosecutors. BJA NTTAC referred the requestor to the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

The Keller Group Neighborhood Foundation requested technical assistance to develop a strategic plan to address service gaps for the returning citizens. BJA determined the Keller Group to be ineligible for assistance through BJA NTTAC.

The Hinds County, Mississippi District Attorney's Office requested information on training for criminal investigators. BJA NTTAC provided the requestor with several training opportunities for criminal investigators.

The Lane County Department of Parole & Probation requested assistance to revise its policies and procedures to align with their systems change to incorporate evidence-based practices (EBPs) into every aspect of their work with clients. The Carey Group was selected to fulfill the request and provided review, editing, and layout of the nine evidence-based policies. The Carey Group delivered the final revised policies to Lane County in January 2017.
