Historically, the state of New York has not had community supervision as a part of the treatment court team. However, probation has reached out and is seeking to become an active part of treatment courts. Probation is now participating on a local level in over 20 treatment courts within the state and is looking to expand into more treatment courts.

The National Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) Resource Center (ERC) invites you to the 2025 National ERPO Roundtable taking place on January 15th-16th, 2025, in Washington, D.C.

The Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions, in partnership with the Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), established the National ERPO Resource Center (ERC) in 2023. The ERC is a training and technical assistance (TTA) hub designed to support states and localities with the implementation of their ERPO programs to reduce gun violence and save lives.

On 2/6/25 TLPI held a virtual onsite training for Burns Paiute. It was presented by Chantel Cloud (TLPI), Catherine Retana (TLPI), Greg Brown (Fox Valley), with administrative support from Mytia Zavala (TLPI). Chief Judge Patricia Davis, and Kim Needham, Tribal Court Clerk/Administrator, Miranda J. Moulton, Probation Officer of the Burns Paiute Tribal Court joined the virtual on-site training via zoom. On 3/15/2024 TLPI held their Virtual Kick Off Meeting for FY 23 CTAS PA 3 Grantees. Chief Judge Patricia Davis, and Kim Needham, Tribal Court Clerk/Administrator of the Burns Paiute Tribal Court joined the virtual meeting via zoom. TLPI presented on the Tribal Courts, Tribal Justice System, and Intergovernmental Collaboration Projection, the broad range of TLPI resources, publications, webinars, and various TTA projects. TLPI also discussed how to request TTA, the TTA TLPI process (which consists of TA Coach assignments, the development of a TA workplan, and a final TA report.
