NCCJD Criminal Justice Fellow Ariel Simms and The Arc's staff attorney Shira Wakschlag presented on criminal justice and disability issues at the conference and provided NCCJD fliers and Tip Sheet for Attorneys. 44 in attendance at their session.

NFB requested NCCJD provide plenary remarks at the annual disability law symposium. Both Leigh Ann Davis and Kathryn Walker provided remarks on the impact of the ADA on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the criminal justice system, including overview of NCCJD and our training materials. The National Federation of the Blind will print the proceedings of the conference in book/PDF form titled " The ADA at Fifty: The Future of Disability Law and the Right to Live in the World" so that it may be distributed widely (in process).
