Webinar: Comprehensive Approach to Offender Management

Gain an overview of the comprehensive approach to offender management. Discuss the fundamental principles of this approach including victim centeredness, public education, specialized knowledge and training, monitoring and evaluation, and collaboration. These fundamental principles will provide a guide for how offender management should be directed, what strategies should be implemented, and which stakeholders should be involved in these efforts.

Webinar – “COVID-19: Justice Response for Community Supervision”

This virtual meeting will provide an overview of the current statutory framework for community supervision and prison release that enables a rapid response to COVID-19 and highlight policies of concern to states during the pandemic. Attendees will also hear from practitioners about how policy is playing out in the justice system and have an opportunity to ask questions.

COPS Office CRI-TAC Introduces their COVID-19 Library of Resources

The COPS Office’s Collaborative Reform Initiative Technical Assistance Center (CRI-TAC) recently introduced their COVID-19 Library of Resources, which is dedicated to informing law enforcement agencies of COVID-19 guidelines and officer safety policies. This resource will allow law enforcement agencies to share updated information regarding agency policies, standard operating processes, fact sheets, press releases, special orders, and training documents.

Apply for the FY 2020 Upholding the Rule of Law and Preventing Wrongful Convictions Program

The Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for its Fiscal Year 2020 Upholding the Rule of Law and Preventing Wrongful Convictions (ROL/WCR) Program. To prioritize the integrity of the criminal justice system, the ROL/WCR program will support entities in reviewing wrongful conviction cases for individuals they represent who claim their innocence.
