NCJTC staff will provide training on suicide prevention and reduction of risk factors: alcohol and substance abuse, lethal means restriction and mental health/distress. Presentation will be culturally sensitive and provide education and discussion on historical and intergenerational trauma. The first training will include the Ho-Chunk Family Services planning committee. The second training will include a session at their youth conference.

NCJTC staff will provide suicide prevention training, and education regarding reduction of risk factors such as alcohol and substance abuse, lethal means and mental health/distress. Sessions will be appropriate for middle and high school youth and tailored to include discussion of historical and intergenerational trauma.
