Creating and maintaining safe communities requires collaboration to develop strategies that effectively address public safety concerns such as alcohol and substance abuse, child abuse, juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, crime and other threats. The Regional Community Safety Summits will discuss key public safety issues impacting tribal communities and how these concerns can be addressed through community policing, interagency collaboration, and multi-jurisdictional partnerships.
