The International Association of Chiefs of Police hosted a group of twenty-eight law enforcement professionals for the piloted Law Enforcement Resilience Training Train-the-Trainer course. The participants that attended came from the three pilot sites, Norfolk, VA Police Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol and Lincoln, NE Police Department. The training took place over the course of four days at the IACP office in Alexandria, VA.

Effective Strategies to Investigate and Prosecute Labor Trafficking in the United States

This two-and-a-half-day training—funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance and sponsored by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and AEquitas—will educate participants on how to identify victims of labor trafficking, as well as share best practices for investigating and prosecuting labor trafficking crimes.

International Association of Chiefs of Police 2019 Annual Conference and Exposition

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition is the largest and most important law enforcement event of the year — more than 16,000 public safety professionals come to learn new techniques, advance their knowledge and careers, and equip their department for ongoing success. The three tenets of the conference are training, networking, and exhibit hall education. IACP 2019 spans four days of education and networking.

Please join the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) on Monday, June 15 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. ET for the webinar, “Developing a Policy to Protect Children of Arrested Parents.” During the webinar, panelists will provide guidance on the planning and implementation process of a police departmental policy to protect children at the time of parental arrest.

Justin Noland and Corrine Eddy will be the primary travelers representing MedicAlert. Either person will travel from the Turlock, CA headquarters to conduct information gathering and general awareness at the national level through conferences that focus new programs and educational efforts for local and state-level law enforcement representatives.
