Learning Objectives Identify and understand the most significant barriers to accessing substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Explore effective strategies and best practices for overcoming barriers to SUD treatment. Evaluate the role of telehealth and digital health solutions in enhancing access to SUD treatment.

Quarterly meeting with Altarum's Advisory Board. Evaluation team and partner Change Matrix hosted a listening session with advisory board members to gain insight into key concerns in the field and innovative ideas.

Met with CHJ-TASC to discuss ways in which we could collaborate. Discussed liaison from Altarum continuing to attend CHJ-TASC office hours for their grantees. Also discussed collaborating on a publication. Brainstormed ideas for the publication and decided on peers integrated in police departments, including best practices and case studies.

NCJA presented an overview of Byrne SCIP to the American Samoa Advisory Board.
In addition, NCJA shared multiple subaward examples based on interest stemming from the SCIP presentation we shared.

NCJA shared examples of strong program plans from two states and again offered to meet with their Advisory Board once it is formed. It is our hope that the examples we've provided will provide the structure and content examples that PR can benefit from to successfully meet the requirements for the Board.

One way to promote a drug free community is to create more awareness of the issue within the community. During this presentation, attendees will learn about opiates and methamphetamines which have gained in popularity and negatively impacted our tribal communities. They will learn how drug abuse is affecting youth, to recognize behaviors that are associated with abuse, and what medical responses are necessary.
