NCORJ is hosting a webinar focusing on how restorative justice approaches are adapted and implemented to meet participants’ needs related to neurodiversity and mental health. By integrating principles of trauma-informed care and recognizing the diversity of human experiences and abilities, restorative justice can offer a more holistic and compassionate approach to addressing harm, promoting accountability, and supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals within communities.
Site visit - September 9 -12, the CSG Justice Center staff traveled to North Carolina to meet with NC DAC staff and House Justice Public Safety Members to discuss current project goals and gauge interest in future JRI work.
PREA stakeholders planning to attend the American Correctional Association (ACA) summer conference in Nashville, TN were invited to join the PREA Management Office (PMO) and the National PREA Resource Center (PRC) for a convening held on Saturday morning, August 17, to discuss hot topics and issues in PREA. This meeting was held on site at the Music City Center during the ACA conference.
