Additional Info

Eva was assigned to this on 8.15.12. Called and left a voice mail for Captain Anderson asking him to return my call the following day. Gave my cell number. Need to get preliminary info for conference reporting form. This has already been approved by Eileen, Pam, and Chris. On 8.17.12 I called again to the PD and left a voice mail for Doug Anderson and asked that he return my call. Gave him my cell phone number for 2nd time. Received call from Lt. Ivan Rose on 8.17.12 and he doesn't know what this request is about. He is going to check with Captain Anderson and call me back. His direct call back number is 209-937-8248. Angela inquired about status on 8.21.12. Sent e-mail to her explaining situation. Call Ivan Rose on 8.23.12 and left a message with my cell phone number asking him to call me back with information on the request for the Nobility in Policing Training and asked if he had a chance yet to speak with Doug Anderson. Also left message for Doug Anderson and sent him an e-mail. 8.22.12 Received call from Doug Anderson in late afternoon. Went through brief assessment process, although he did not have a lot of information in regard to the request. Will make contact with Michael Nila for conference reporting, budget request etc. At the request of Pam Cammarata, left message for Captain Anderson requesting a 30 minute conference call either on 8.29.12 or 8.30.12. Asked Cpt. Anderson to call me back. Received call back from Anderson on 8.30.12 indicating that he could not take call but that Lt. Ivan Rose could. Coordinated meeting with Pam Cammarata, Michael Nila, and Mia Deufel. Conflicting information was given to Pam, et.al. in regard to TA request. They state that Chief of police wants training for entire department on nobility in policing. Lt. Rose states that there is no way this can occur unless it occurs over a span of 1 year. Lt. Rose states that they only want training for 25 guys over two days (50 guys total; 25 each day). In addition, Lt. Rose states that his understanding of the request was in regard to sensitivity training and diversity b/c of the complaints the department has received. Michael Nila states that the nobility in policing training does not cover sensitivity or diversity but that he can create a course for that. Pam and Michael will contact Chief of Police. Lt. Rose will talk to Chief and see if they can get on same page. Michael Nila will contact Ivan Rose directly after speaking with Chief. Case pending as of 8.31.12. on 9.4.12 received e-mail from Pam Cammarata stating that request should be on hold pending further communication with Stockton. Directly advised NOT to contact them until hearing from her. Eva sent an e-mail to Captain Anderson advising him that request was being closed.
