How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
This conference will help criminal justice professionals of color engage with one another, as well as those from outside their communities, about the particular challenges they face in the execution of their public safety duties, both internally and externally. It will achieve this by fostering dialogues in a candid but constructive manner, identifying best practices relative to culturally sensitive peer supports, and addressing culturally related challenges to professional development and promotion. The goals of this conference will be to serve as a catalyst for positive organizational growth relative to employees of color and to enable them to more effectively and impactfully affect the public safety climate within their jurisdictions.
