Contacted Jim Grand from AHP and Becky Murdock from FVTC on 2.1.13 to inquire if they already have funding to provide training for this request. Spoke to Jim Grand from AHP on 2.6.13 and he stated that his grant is only funded to do training with RSAT (Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Program) funded organizations. He stated that they do have staff that would be able to provide the training necessary, however the org. must have RSAT funding. Placed a call to Sheryl Uyan on 2.6.13 and her voice-mail stated that she would be out of the office until 2.20.13, but she left a phone number for her supervisor, Christine O'Kelley (650-802-6413) and I called Christine and asked her to call me back so that I can ask if they are an RSAT funded org. Called Christine O'Kelley again on 2.12.13 and left message inquiring if they have RSAT funding and asked her to call me back. Ms. O'Kelley returned my call on 2.14.13 and stated that they did not have RSAT funding. Sent e-mail to Ms. Uyan on 2.26.13 (she just returned to her office on 2.20.13 and I was out of office until 2.25.13) and asked her to schedule a time this week for an assessment call. Sent an e-mail to Ms. Uyan on 3.6.13 informing her that I needed to recieve the TA assessment form by COB today and that we needed to schedule a call for either Friday or Monday or else I would have to close out her case since it has been a month since the request came in and I have had very little response from her. Explained that if she was not prepared to follow through with request at this time that it could be closed and she could submit another request when she was ready. Received e-mail on 3.6.13 from Ms. Uyan stating that she needed to discuss her request with her project manager who was out of town. She stated that she would withdraw her request until they could have time to discuss what they were requesting and would re-submit another request.
