Narrative Description of this activity
July 1-July 31, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 3 emails and other announcements, that were sent out to the grantee. Included in the emails were resources regarding training announcements, and other relevant resources including webinar materials, and resources from webinars.
Some emails included project partner NAICJA regarding 4 resources on safety planning and protests. Many of the resources were shared via constant contact.

September 1-September 30, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 5 emails and other announcements, that were either sent out to the grantee, received from, or were internal contact regarding the grantee. Included in some emails were resources regarding training announcements, and other relevant resources including webinar materials, and resources from webinars which were sent via a Constant Contact. During this month, the grantee attended the THWC Enhancement Training. Direct contact is usually under BJA 10, however, discussion was held with Angela Easterling, and she found the training to be very helpful.

October 1-October 31, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 6 direct emails sent; and several other announcements were sent out to the grantee during this period. Included in were webinar announcements, and resources, other training announcements, and other relevant resources which were sent via Constant Contact. During this period Work Plans were finalized for meetings with grantees.
The Chief Judge, Nic Mazanec went to the NAICJA conference this month, and a brief conversation was held with him. It was requested that he send contact to TLPI to update us on any new T/TA needs. The grantee had someone from their Tribe attend the monthly webinar: Lessons from the Field: Insights from a Tribal Prosecutor. During this period, at the NAICJA Conference C. Cloud had a conversation with the Chief Judge and it appeared that they are going to want some assistance with some concerns. He was asked to send an email detailing current status and potential T/TA request. However, that was not received. He also confirmed that Angela E. enjoyed the THWC Enhancement Training.

November

November 1-November 30, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 5 direct emails sent; and several other announcements were sent out to the grantee during this period. Included in were webinar announcements, and resources, other training announcements, and other relevant resources which were sent via Constant Contact. During this period Work Plans were finalized for meetings with grantees and a meeting was held with this grantee. Grantee usually reaches out when needed. From the Work Plan meeting grantee advised that there are internal issues with work on codes that may need to be addressed or may hinder progress on that goal.

December 1-December 31, 2024, Monthly Activity; During this reporting period, there were approximately 4 direct/or indirect emails sent; and several other announcements were sent out to the grantee during this period. Included were webinar announcements, and resources, other training announcements, and other relevant resources which were sent via Constant Contact. During this period a Work Plans follow up meeting was rescheduled due to the holidays. One major issue the Tribe is dealing with is getting Council and the community on the same page in order to get feedback and movement on the tribal codes that will assist with moving forward with grant goals.
