CSG Justice Center staff completed the November Justice Counts website audit and updates. These updates included the addition of newly opted in agencies, updates to booking links for staff, and improvements of navigational links within the website to improve user experience.?
CSG Justice Center staff completed a follow-up Justice Counts data-use agency resource for the New Mexico Association of Counties. After completing an initial resource in October focused on New Mexico's adult detention challenge in balancing the care and custody of people charged with county, state, and federal offenses while securing enough funding from all levels to get the job done, New Mexico requested an additional analysis of county and state funding breakdowns to present to statewide county commissioners in December.?

In Missouri CSG Justice Center staff, in collaboration with Prosecutors by Karpel, are developing an annual report template powered by prosecutorial data shared through Publisher. This tool will deliver county-specific insights for all 114 counties in the state, providing prosecutors with a standardized, data-driven resource to advocate for agency needs. By significantly reducing staff time spent on administrative tasks and ensuring consistency across counties, the reports will enhance data accessibility and usability. User testing is scheduled for December, with full implementation in January 2025.?
In Georgia, CSG Justice Center staff are using Justice Counts data to create a comprehensive overview of patterns and trends in cases filed and their dispositions across 865 municipal courts statewide. This first-ever statewide analysis of case flow will equip judicial leaders with actionable insights to improve court operations and demonstrate the broader impact of the judiciary.?
In Indiana, using data shared in Publisher, CSG Justice Center staff are preparing an analysis of probation population trends and discharge outcomes over the last three years. This resource will help local decision-makers evaluate the effectiveness of their supervision strategies and guide informed policy and operational decisions.?
In Iowa, to enhance the communication of policing efforts, CSG Justice Center staff are designing a monthly reporting template that transforms raw data into a narrative-driven format. This tool moves beyond static tables in PDFs by incorporating descriptive analysis and visual storytelling, empowering police leadership to effectively convey the impact of their work using Justice Counts data.?
?CSG Justice Center staff worked with partners at BJA, the National Sheriffs Association, and the American Jail Association to finalize a jail sector branded Justice Counts resource spotlighting the value of sharing data through Justice Counts to sheriffs and jail administrators across the country. This resource will be finalized for use in December.
CSG Justice Center staff worked with partners at BJA and the National Association of Counties (NaCo) to finalize a county-focused branded Justice Counts resource spotlighting the value of sharing data through Justice Counts across multiple agencies at the county level to better advocate for justice resources county-wide. This resource spotlights the work of Cass County, Indiana agencies and will be finalized for use in December.
