Objective 5: Place data analysts in residence at State DOCs to increase the utility of data for decision-making while also building the corrections analyst workforce.
In September, the RCA made significant progress on the development of the dashboards. The RCA successfully created draft dashboards for Cases Pending and Initial Time Computations. CSG Justice Center staff worked with the RCA to write the SQL code and QA the dashboards. Additionally, CSG Justice Center staff reviewed problem case data with the RCA to finalize the Cases Pending dashboard. Lastly, CSG Justice Center staff completed a site visit to LDPSC to introduce new staff to the team, review the dashboards, and discuss remaining project objectives to be accomplished.
