Grantee attended our COSSUP Cohort Call on OFRs on 12/5
They are working closely with Las Vegas metropolitan police to better tailor their police trainings to include information on community resources for SUD treatment and recovery.
They have law enforcement leadership buy in
They are working with Clark County to initiate a program with fire in which they distribute Naloxone for every call located in a "high risk" area that they identified with EMS overdose data.
Summary of Challenges
They asked if other programs have had a police union interfere with program implementation. This has not happened to them, but they are wondering in case it does.
