In our Q3 check-in on 8/22/24, the City of Martinsburg said they would like information or curricula related to youth harm reduction. Katy suggested looking into the Safety First curriculum (https://med.stanford.edu/halpern-felsher-reach-lab/preventions-interven…). It might be challenging to make this sustainable as a main curriculum for schools, but could be interesting to explore if TGFD messages are not resonating with students (e.g., if they have been identified as having SU challenges). Katy will also locate the Safety First webinar recording and see if there are any good takeaways.
