The presentation is described as, "As elder fraud continues to escalate, it poses significant challenges, with perpetrators often operating from overseas and leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The primary objective of this presentation is to illuminate the common scams that specifically target seniors, underscoring the critical importance of fostering collaboration and facilitating information sharing among various agencies. Presenters will explore how evolving technologies are exploited by criminals, showcasing real-life examples to underscore the severity of the problem. This presentation seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by elder fraud and offer insights into collaborative efforts, resources for investigations, and educational initiatives."
