• IIR staff members continued to post content to the COSSUP Facebook and Twitter pages. Between January 1 and June 30, 2024, IIR issued 142 Facebook posts and 169 tweets/retweets. COSSUP social media posts were shared by BJA; the National Institute of Justice; the Peer Recovery Center of Excellence; the National Treatment Court Resource Center; the Council of State Governments Justice Center; and the ATTC Network, among others. Highlights included the following:
o 22 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts providing coverage of the 2024 National Forum on Overdose Fatality Review (March 5-6)
o 12 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts providing coverage of a meeting of the Bridges to Increase Access to Opioid Use Disorder Treatment in the Nation’s Jails (March 12-13)
o 13 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts providing coverage of a meeting of the Reaching Rural Initiative (April 23-25)
o 22 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts promoting COSSUP Champions of Recovery
o 18 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts sharing TTA provider-authored articles from the October and December 2023 issues of Catching Up With COSSUP
o 17 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts promoting BJA-issued solicitations related to support for community responses to substance use
o 7 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter accounts announcing webinars and other content hosted by the Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration
o 5 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter promoting the COSSUP Training and Technical Assistance Program
o 5 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter pages promoting the Peer Recovery Support Services Mentoring Initiative
o 2 posts to both the Facebook and Twitter pages promoting videos produced by the Overdose Fatality Review program
o Posts promoting the COSSUP First Responder Deflection Mentoring Initiative
o Posts promoting National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
