The grant coordinator reported having difficulties submitting the PMT report. The grant extension date for FYI 2022 was not updated in the system. The coach sent the grant coordinator contact information for BJA/PMT to resolve the issue.
Human Resources continues to work on the job description for the PREA Accountability position.
TMG Coaches arranged a meeting with contacts from NYDOCCS and GADC to discuss the PREA Peer Education Program as requested. At the meeting, the team discussed the implementation steps for a PREA Peer Education Program. The components of the program, include inmate criteria, conducting focus groups, developing curriculum and facilitator guides. An agency specific PREA video was discussed. Additional resources were provided via email because of the peer education meeting call with NYDOCS.
The PREA coordinator stated they are considering using some grant funds to purchase new computers for the PREA department.
