"Priority Area 1: Assist the three delivery systems with identifying strategies and developing comprehensive equitable statewide supervision recommendations and definitions for community supervision.  Update: In March, due to time constraints and the initial prioritization of other areas, the implementation working group did not begin outlining tasks for supervision standards, but the deliverable remains on track.  Priority Area 2: Support the three delivery systems with identifying strategies and developing policies for assessment-driven, collaborative case planning for criminogenic and behavioral health needs.  Update: In March, CSG Justice Center staff met with the implementation working group to review progress from the DOC Master Trainer Group on recommendations for tasks outlined under the case planning priority. The Master Trainer Group plans to meet twice before the next working group meeting to draft a straw document to begin outlining recommendations. In addition, CSG Justice Center staff shared two more goals related to case plans on the work plan: develop policy and practices to target identified criminogenic and behavioral health needs, and target resources to individuals identified as moderate to high risk to reoffend.  Priority Area 3: Assist the three delivery systems with establishing a statewide behavior response grid for client behavior management in community supervision.  Update: Due to time constraints and the initial prioritization of other areas, the implementation working group did not begin outlining tasks for the behavior response grid, but the deliverable remains on track.  Priority Area 4: Work with the three delivery systems to create statewide data metrics to gather and track the application of policies and changes in the population under supervision over time, including inconsistent results and disparate outcomes.  Update: In March, CSG Justice Center staff met with Minnesotaâs three delivery system representatives to provide support and feedback to the Statewide Outcomes Subcommittee, which reports to the CSTS Data Committee, on mapping current data fields to data metrics outlined in legislation.  Priority Area 5: Support leaders of the three delivery systems and Tribal representatives to assess funding priorities and local needs and develop a process for tracking and reporting use of funds from the funding formula.  Update: In March, the implementation working group discussed potential areas to support funding for enhancements to the case plan module in CSTS, coaching, and training to support quality assurance investments and long-term sustainability and ongoing training for trainers to support evidence-based practices and principles."
