This training program will utilize the Bring Your Own Case (BYOC) model to provide needed training to capital defense teams, as well as provide the basis for ongoing technical assistance. The combined defense team will work with a faculty of leading experts on issues directly relevant to the defenders' training needs. The agenda is developed in accordance with the BYOC model and is tailored to the specific training needs of the trainees. The program will be preceded by a single-day train-the-trainers program for program facilitators.
Please check the box next to the following questions if the answer is 'yes'.
This is the third BYOC conducted under this award. It also includes a train-the-trainers program preceding the first session. The train-the-trainers program has proved invaluable given the importance of the brainstorming breakout sessions to the agenda, and the number of new faculty to the overall CCLI program participating in these training programs. Overall, the train-the-trainers session is anticipated to be well-received by the facilitators, and the coordinators believe that it will be essential to the success of this training program.
