The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues, such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. Below is a listing of some of the conference call that PDMP TTAC staff members facilitated and participated:
1. Two conference calls with representatives from PDMPs that operate most aspects of their PDMP in-house instead of utilizing a vendor. Discussions focused on challenges faced including integration, staffing, data quality, and patient matching.
2. Six conference calls with representatives from the eHealth Exchange and PDMP representatives. Discussions focused on connecting individual PDMPs to the eHealth Exchange.
3. Three conference calls with representatives from IJIS and Tetra Corporation to discuss status, progress, and support on interstate data sharing and integration projects related to the RxCheck Hub.
4. Two conference calls with representatives from CDC to assist their grant recipients with interstate data sharing and integration efforts.
5. Two conference calls with PDMP representatives to discuss compliance-related topics.
6. One conference call with PDMP representatives to discuss new ASAP reporting standards.
7. Four conference calls with representatives from BJA, IJIS, and Tetra Corporation to discuss strategy on the PMIX/NIEM data sharing standards.
8. Four conference calls with the HL7 FHIR workgroup to develop specifications for PDMPs to electronically exchange healthcare information via FHIR.
9. Five conference calls, one virtual meeting, and one in-person meeting with representatives from BJA and the Office of the Assistance Attorney Generals Office to discuss interstate data sharing and health record integration through the RxCheck Hub.
