During this reporting period, the PREA Coordinator (PC) has been assigned other duties, leaving insufficient time for all the duties associated with PREA. The PREA Compliance Manager (PCM) has also been assigned other duties, leaving insufficient time for all the duties associated with PREA. The PC met with agency leadership, but no definitive plan for enhancing existing PREA compliance strategies was developed. During their meeting, facility leadership noted receipt of emails from the coaches, but no further action was taken. Meeting participants had an open conversation regarding the monthly calls and slow progress. The PC requested to maintain the schedule for the calls as they keep her focused; however, she will cancel if nothing has developed. If the call is cancelled, the team will be updated via email. Bucks County is struggling to continue PREA compliance activities despite support challenges from facility leadership. The coaching calls in November 2023 and December 2023 did not occur. Multiple attempts were made to reschedule to no avail; no email update was provided.
