CHJ COSSAP Grantee Quarterly Call was scheduled for December 14, 2023 from 2:00pm - 3:30pm ET. These calls are an opportunity for grantees to check-in with us at CHJ, meet other grantees, and learn about topics related to deflection and pre-arrest diversion initiatives. Invited are CHJ's FY19-22 deflection and pre-arrest diversion grantees. After a brief introduction to the CHJ team and our TTA support, we were joined by two presenters.
This quarterly call featured experts discussing the unique needs of veterans and the recent research that illustrates how deflection teams can more effectively respond to and support veterans. A guidebook from the National Institute of Corrections on justice-involved veterans was discussed. Presenters included: Jac Charlier, Executive Director, TASC Center for Health and Justice
