The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is hosting a Violent Crime Reduction Summit, Partnerships for Safer Communities, on December 11–13, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The summit aims to bring together partners from across communities working collaboratively to address violent crime. The summit will convene local leadership and federal partners from Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) and National Public Safety Partnership (PSP) sites—approximately 1,500 attendees—to examine and enhance public safety and violence reduction strategies. Panelists and speakers will include nationally recognized criminal justice practitioners and subject-matter experts who will conduct interactive team sessions that offer action-oriented, proven strategies to build capacity in areas such as prevention, intervention, and reentry strategies; enforcement, investigative, and prosecution strategies; community and partner engagement; and youth engagement.
The RVCRI team will be supporting 7 agencies to attend this event.
