On July 20, 2023, members of the SLATT team delivered a hybrid lesson from the Detect and Interdict: Specialized Roles in Uncovering and Preventing Terrorism (DISRUPT) course titled, Terrorist and Violent Extremist Attacks on Infrastructure, as a component of the Bureau of Land Reclamation, Regional Special Agent In-service Training, hosted in Helena, Montana. The training consisted of an overview of domestic terrorism (DT), current threats to infrastructure, an overview of the SLATT Program, and a roundtable discussion. In addition, SLATT resources were made available to attendees via a QR code.
There were approximately 19 attendees at the DISRUPT training event. Of those attendees who provided an evaluation, 100% were satisfied with the course, found the information useful and the instructors knowledgeable and effective, and responded that their knowledge increased and that they would recommend the course to others.
One attendee commented that the “instructor was extremely professional and demonstrated true depth of knowledge in the subject matter presented.”
