During this period, IIR provided support for the following information sharing projects. Activities and status updates for these projects are provided below.

Intelligence Summit Task Teams—During this period, at the request of DHS, IIR developed a project plan and budget for facilitating and managing six new, concurring, CICC task teams, established to address the six focus areas outlined in the 2022 Intelligence Summit – Information Sharing in a Dynamic and Evolving Threat Environment: Post-Event Report:
1. Governance
2. Steady and Crisis State Communications and Engagement Strategy
3. Resources and Sustainment of the Information Sharing Environment
4. Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
5. Intelligence Training and Technical Assistance
6. Technology

Upon approval of the project plan and budget, IIR worked with CICC leadership to appoint chairs and co-chairs for each of the six task teams and facilitated membership invitations to participate to populate each team with task team members and subject matter experts (SMEs). IIR also assigned personnel to serve as lead supports for each task team, meeting with each team’s co-chairs in planning calls, preparing task team overviews, and coordinating and documenting kick-off calls for each team. More task team activity will be reported in the next reporting period.

NSI Indicator Review Project—During this reporting period, IIR finalized contracts with NCITE and START, hosted kick-off calls with the team, and began hosting biweekly status calls. In June 2023, NCITE and START began their research efforts. More activity will be reported in the next reporting period.

SAR Scenario Training Package Project—During this period, IIR incorporated, reviewed, and delivered to NTER the SAR Scenario Training Package for use by DHS to deliver to fusion centers. The final package includes:
• A list of recommended pre-Technical Assistance (TA) Online Training and Reading List
• A TA Workflow and Checklist
• An agenda for the one-day, 8-hour training
• A SAR Scenario Training Package TA Master Slide Deck
• An Instructor’s Guide
• Four SAR scenario/exercises accompanied by instructor’s guides to support scenario analysis and program evaluation tools
• An eGuardian Practical Exercise
• An evaluation

IIR delivered the SAR Scenario Training package to NTER in May 2023. On June 5, 2023, IIR held a conference call with NTER to discuss the components of the overall package. By the end of this reporting period, final approval of the package by NTER was pending.
